Ready to take the lead on bids that shape major construction projects?
We’re working with a leading Tier 1 construction business that is looking to appoint an experienced Bid Manager to join its Exeter team.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in winning and delivering complex construction work, working alongside operational, commercial and pre-construction teams to develop compelling, commercially sound bids.
The opportunity:
- Lead the bid process from PQQ / ITT through to submission.
- Develop winning strategies, compelling written submissions and high-quality presentations.
- Coordinate internal teams, supply chain partners and specialist contributors.
- Work on a diverse range of significant construction projects and frameworks.
- Influence how projects are won and help shape the future workload of an established business.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven Bid Management experience within construction, ideally with a Tier 1 or leading main contractor.
- Someone from a Pre-Construction, Project Management or Design Management background looking to move into Bid management would also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of PQQ, ITT, tender and work-winning processes.
- Excellent written, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines and competing priorities.
- A collaborative, commercially aware approach.
