Location: Cornwall / Liskeard
Salary: £45,000–£60,000 + £4,000 car allowance DOE

We are working with a successful and growing construction business to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cornwall.

Based from their Cornwall office, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to take on responsibility across multiple projects, work closely with senior leadership and have genuine scope for career progression.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects across Cornwall, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as the business continues to grow.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a minimum of two projects at any one time.
• Overseeing the commercial delivery of projects across Cornwall.
• Cost planning and commercial management.
• Working closely with the pre-construction team.
• Supporting the wider project team to ensure projects are delivered successfully and commercially.
• Working closely with the Associate Directors.
• Taking on increasing responsibility as you progress within the business.

About You

We are looking for either an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong commercial background and the ability to manage multiple projects.

You will ideally have:

• Experience managing multiple construction projects.
• Strong commercial and cost management skills.
• Experience with cost planning and/or pre-construction.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to work independently while working closely with senior management.
• A genuine interest in progressing your career within a growing business.
• You must be based in Cornwall and able to work across Cornwall as required.
